Monthly Update: September 2022 (Patreon)

Hello Patrons and slugs,

We’ve made it to the end of September, and we’ve been busy. We’ve spent the month editing and putting the finishing touches to Retry: Cuphead.

Here’s a little peak at the key art for the new series...

It’s pretty much all done, and you’ll be able to see it all very soon. But that’s not all. Since the beginning of September, we’ve started filming regularly every Monday and Tuesday, and we’ve already got plenty of stuff in the pipeline. This is the new production schedule we’ve wanted to get going since moving into the new place and wrapping on Retry: Demon’s Souls.

We can’t talk about everything that’s coming, but it’s already making a big difference, which you’ll see very soon. The reason we’re not revealing everything we’re working on right now is because we only want to talk about things when we know we can 100% deliver on them. When we’re ready, you’ll be the first to know the upcoming schedule.

But as a little tease, we can reveal we’ve already filmed an entire series of SPOOKIES, which was so much fun to film. Any guesses on what it might be?

It’s been great to be filming more regularly and getting back to how we used to make things in the before-times.

Studio Update

One of the reasons we’re not outlining everything in the pipeline is because right now we’re striking the balance between filming, post-production, and setting aside time to work on the studio. It’s easy to worry about putting out new things on the channel and on Patreon, but it’s important to set aside time to improve the studio, as ultimately that’ll make us way more efficient and productive.

Patrons on our Early Access tier and above can watch the first of our vlog series chronicling what we’re up to with the RKG studio and see how we progress in the month’s ahead. The first part is out now and gives you a good tour of our home and what we plan to do with it.

New T-Shirt On Sale Now

Retry: Demon’s Souls finally comes to a close this weekend.

As you've probably already seen, we've launched a new shirt to celebrate the end of the series which we put so much work into.

We obviously had to collaborate with BLOC. who has helped us design all the artwork for the series, and with this T-shirt we want to celebrate Papa Finchy and especially our journey through the lands of Boletaria.

Halloween Horror Nights

Last month we teased Krupa and Gav’s adventures in Orlando, which you can hear more about in a recent Shield Up, and if you’ve not seen it then have a look at us surviving 10 haunted houses in one night.

We love making one-off specials like this and with our new production schedule, we’ll hopefully be in a position to be able to make more exciting things like this soon.
