What’s Coming to RKG in February 2022? (Patreon)

Hello there you lovely patrons, 

Here's a little look at what you can expect in February and beyond. 

Demon's Souls Update

We're very excited to announce that we're currently full steam ahead on the edit for Demon's Souls and so far it's been an adventure. Making the decision to go from HD to 4K is less about just flicking a switch that makes everyone look prettier and more about worrying how we're going to efficiently store and edit multiple camera captures that sometimes reach over 1TB in size. 

This might not look that funny right now but trust us when we say it's hilarious, alright? 

The jump to 4K is huge for us (and you) but along with the jump in video quality we're also really taking these edits up a notch in terms of production across the board. 

We're very lucky and grateful that the support of our patrons means we can make our shows the way we want to without compromise and unlike anybody else on the Internet. 

We can't wait to share more about RKG's most ambitious project yet with you very soon. 

Early Access

While we're editing Demon's Souls we wanted to also bring you some other exciting projects so we'll be launching a new Early Access series early in March that people have been asking for and we think you'll really love it. We've also been looking at ways we can offer more value to this tier so you'll be seeing something really exciting when our new series launches.

We've got the second part of our full playthrough of The Forgotten City coming your way. If you haven't watched the first yet, make sure to get caught up if only to see the moment where we're joined in the chat by a voice actor from the game. Bonkers.

Gav Plays Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

The Uncharted series is one of my absolute favourites but for some reason I never touched The Lost Legacy. I thought the PS5 remaster's release is a perfect excuse to fix that and there's nobody I'd rather have watch me experience it for the first time than our lovely producers. I've managed to avoid all spoilers for the game so I'm going in completely blind but man, I can't wait to see what crazy capers my buddy Nate gets up to in this one. 

I'm going to try this full playthrough over two streams but let's see how we get on and more importantly - I'm currently accepting suggestions for Uncharted-themed cocktails...
