If you celebrate, I'm here to wish you a happy Spooktober, and welcome to Krupa's Halloween Film Club. 

(Now imagine a maniacal laugh echoing down an empty corridor for infinite time. Nice.)

While lurking in the Discord, I spotted some people wondering whether I had a list of horror films I was going to be watching this month. 

I didn't at the time, but it was on my list of things to do, and then I thought sharing it would make for a nice little community activity.

So here's the list...

Sorry, I've not sourced streaming platforms in other territories but there's so many I thought it'd get unnecessarily complicated. But hopefully you can find a way to stream most of these on services you're already got or sign-up for free trials for the others you don't have.

The list is a mix of things I've not seen or not seen for a long while. I've also gone for a real mixture of stuff – old, new, ghosts, haunted houses, cosmic, monsters, slashers, but also varying genres from drama and comedy, too.

I'm not watching these at a set time, or streaming myself watching them this year, but I thought this might be a nice chilled way to enjoy some films together. Drop in and out, watch whatever you fancy, there's no pressure to watch every single one or anything like that.

I'll set up a dedicated channel in the Discord later today for us to chat about the movies, share recommendations, and, I guess, talk about anything spooky for the entirety of this month.
