Today’s a big day in the short history of RKG.

We’re moving out of our first studio (Gav’s spare room) into an actual studio (not a spare room).

It's a blank canvas. A very blank canvas.

It might not look like much at the minute but we’re excited to transform it into our new home.

It’s an important step for us in so many ways. This year was all about establishing RKG, and delivering a new show, despite a lot of things being very different. But now we want to start a new chapter, grow, and offer more.

Coco's ready to move in.

Having a place where we can all go is an important step in making all of that possible. We used to spend everyday together, working on lots of different projects. But this year, outside of shooting Retry, we’ve mainly worked separately from our homes. We’ve missed being together, making things and making things happen. The RKG House (henceforth how it shall be known) will give us that.

Before we can start filming a new series of Retry,we have to spend a little time getting the space ready. That means Retry: Sekiro will have to wait just a little while. We can’t wait to make that series, and we know a lot of people are really looking forward to it – that’s why we want to make it as good as possible. So instead of squeezing it in between building a studio, we’re going to wait until the space is finished and we can focus on Sekiro properly.

We really need to buy some desks.

But... that doesn’t mean we’re going away. Once Retry: Resident Evil 2 concludes, we’ll be launching a brand new show to take us until the end of the year. We’re really excited to tell you more about that in the coming weeks. It’s a little taste of what’s to come. We want to offer multiple shows, not just Retry but exciting one-off videos, and longer, more creative live-streams. The RKG House will allow us to do all that and more. Time to get building...

But first, we want to say thank you. If you’re an RKG patron, thank you for making all of this possible.

RKG x

P.S. If you want to find out more about the RKG House, watch this week’s RKG Live which will be coming directly from the new studio! It won’t look like much because we’re still building it, but we’ll be able to give you a little guided tour.

Congrats boys! Amazing news and a great milestone for the business

Looks promising! Will you have a green screen to use as backdrop for filming Retry? I think that would look great for you. You could then scale up the video of yourselves without covering up the game with a big white rectangle! I work as a video technician at a theatre, and we recently purchased something called a Reflecmedia Kit. Basically a reflexive screen that you use together with a light ring emitting green or blue light. The ring is fixed to the lens, and voila - the screen is green (or blue). It works perfectly. Tad expensive, but saves you tons of time lighting the screen itself as with conventional keying. You only light the boys.. Anyway. Congrats on getting a proper studio!

If you want any unpaid help and support from myself (living in london) I'd be happy to paint or move things in support of the house <3
