RETRY: Elden Ring | Part Two is almost here. 

The first episode will debut for everyone on Saturday, 25th May.

We’ll be first showing it as a YouTube Premiere at 7pm BST | 2pm EST | 11am PST | 4am AEST (Sunday, 26th May). Links will be going out on Monday.

We’ve just posted a new trailer not only to get you excited but to also say ‘thank you’ for supporting us on Patreon. We wanted the trailer to illustrate what your support allows us to do.

If you’ve watched the trailer, you might be wondering what’s up with the orchestra?

We’ve not yet talked about this, but early last year when we were developing the series we were on the hunt for some new music for RETRY. In the past we’ve raided online music libraries, and for our Demon’s Souls series, we even licensed the music we used for Prepare To Try. (If you have access to the RETRY: Demon’s Souls Special Edition, you can watch Gav bargaining with a man at Universal in one of the behind-the-scenes videos.)

We’ve always said we want to make this the best long-form Let’s Play in the world. That’s the ambition. We put so much work into every aspect of its production so, we thought, why should the music not receive the same treatment?

So we hired a BAFTA-nominated composer (and old university friend of Krupa’s) Blair Mowat to compose an original theme for us – one we can use for years to come. 

And we even hired an orchestra to record it! That’s what you’ve been hearing on every episode throughout Part One.

We thought now was a good time to tell you all about it. Because your support on Patreon really does make doing wild and epic things like hiring a live orchestra to record an originally-composed theme for a Let’s Play series possible. That’s a ridiculous thing to be able to do: so, thank you. For everything.

• Every Saturday you’ll receive a private YouTube link to watch the next episode of RETRY a full week before it debuts on YouTube.

• This weekend patrons will receive Ep.32 immediately after the Premiere, so you’ll be able to watch two episodes next Saturday.

Roundtable Hold

• Access to Roundtable Hold, our fortnightly companion show to RETRY: Elden Ring. A place where we see the things we’ve missed, discuss the lore in greater detail, and occasionally put Rory and Gav to the test.
