NEW MERCH | The Fate of Finchy Range Out Now (Patreon)

8 years ago today the first episode of Prepare To Try appeared on IGN’s YouTube channel and the world was introduced to Finchy.

To celebrate, we’re releasing a range of designs, remembering all of the Finchies from those early years: Chimpy, Froggy, and Posh.

We're calling it The Fate of Finchy!

Once again we've collaborated with the brilliant BLOC. on these wonderful designs. Each one features a pocket design on the front, with a portrait of Finchy framed within a familiarly-shaped shield (a little nod to our old Prepare To Try logo).

On the back, there’s a large portrait of Finchy reimagined as one of the major tarot cards. Hopefully you can see why we’ve matched each Finchy with that card. We've even smuggled in some small references to the game in which we first met them. 

Here's a closer look at each design.

Death

Death signifies not physical death but a profound transformation. While these initial changes may be painful, embracing them will help you shape a more positive future. But sometimes it does signify real death, and in our case, lots of them.

The Fool

The Fool embraces new beginnings, being inexperienced, and shows a willingness to take risks guided by intuition, such as leaping off great heights screaming “Tactics!”.

The Emperor

The Emperor signifies responsibility, courage, and a dependency on Father’s money. It is synonymous with privilege and poshness.

All designs are available as T-shirts (unisex and women’s fit), hoodies, and sweatshirts.

They’re available right now until midnight (UK time) on March 31st.

If you've not ordered one of our designs before, they all get printed at the end of the campaign. This is to reduce waste, so we only print the number order. But it does mean that items aren't dispatched instantly.

Also, you may notice that the prices have slightly increased. This is due to our merch manufacturer raising their production costs, but we’ve tried to keep the increase for you as low as possible while still using the best-quality garments. This is the first time they’ve increased their prices in 5 years. We just wanted to mention it, in case you were wondering.
