Trying out showcockpit (Patreon)

Gave the apc40 mk2 with showcockpit it’s first run tonight in Portland. I actually like it! Faders are great but the buttons are too bouncy for my likes. With my touch screen laptop I turn it into a full size with screen 4 and buttons bellow.

Are the faders working well on the APC40 when mapping it as a Executor Fader and not a fixed executor fader? I have an APC20 and If I don't map them as fixed faders they're pretty laggy. Not sure why. I might just code my own I already made a Python script that works like this for MA dot2. that was before my MA3 2 port node came. :)

I'd say ShowCockpit because you don't have to have to have any midi config on your show files. With showcockpit it connects to GMA2 via the web interface using websockets to make calls and and receive feedback data. which means all the midi mapping happens outside of MA so you can create a new show file without needing to do any mapping. You just have to make sure the web interface is enabled.
