Might add this as part of the upcoming update since it would be pretty easy, but depends on how long the balance doc and the start of spirit weapons takes

Honestly I would love to see this. You could either do this or have skill scrolls be obtainable just like spell scrolls or fighting style scrolls, but being able to cosmetically change whatever weapon you have. Either seem plausible to me, but this seems like it could be more fun.

Maybe specific weapon skills like rising tide can only be put on other weapons of that same type with only two of that skill being able to be on that weapon max?

It sounds awesome but I'm curious as to some specifics. Could I strip down a Vindicator and use iron greathammer skills on it to lower its requirements for hybrids- or will base requirements always depend on the weapon quality n' stuff like that? Will there BE some rare skills that can move to different weapons, like could I put crushing judgement on Halbred?

im a warrior. ive been silently wishing this for awhile but never thought itd happen. all i can say is HOLY YES I LOVE THIS. now the only problem weapons face is enchantments, it might be possible to enchant a certain weapon with an multiple enchantments, and be able to switch between them at a blacksmith, this way idiots like me dont go and grind for 6 copies of every weapon for collection sake

So we can only apply weapon skills to other weapons of the same type? Like we can only apply whirlwind to other swords/cutlasses, or can we apply that to dual swords too?
