Shipping Update & Changes to Future Campaign Ribbons (Patreon)

Attention Institute Personnel!

I wanted to provide another update on the shipping of physical Patreon rewards and our plans to switch up the process in the future.

So, if you still have not yet received your Antares Pin from last year, or the campaign ribbons from the start of 2022, that means your rewards were part of the second order we needed to place after the demand was much higher than we anticipated. Unfortunately, while we were able to get our initial order in under a month, our subsequent order has been hit by several delays. The first of which being that our initial supplier has fundamentally transformed their fulfillment method. We’ve been working with them to get our second order, but ongoing delays have made the entire process very complicated. We had hoped to get the last batch of physical rewards out to everyone in April, but that ended up not being possible.

At the moment, I don’t have a solid estimate on when we’ll be able to get these outstanding physical rewards. As soon as they are delivered however, our top priority will be getting them out to everyone still waiting. We'll make sure to let you know they're on the way. In the future though, we’re going to be changing up how the Campaign Ribbons will be sent out. Rather then having them delivered to our offices and sending them out from there, we’ll be forgoing the middle-man and relying entirely on the private storefront we initially set up. The downside to this is that you will need to pay for these ribbons at cost (roughly 4 dollars each), but the upside is any delays will not disrupt the entire process as they are now.

I know it’s never fun being part of the beta-testing process, but now that we’ve identified all the major hiccups in the process, future campaign ribbons should hopefully go out a lot quicker.
