Hello everyone, well let's get to the point

We're almost 2 or 3 months into the task of making Wuya from the Xioalin warriors from the animated series, but the truth is it's been quite a challenge, which I mean by that, well.

  • The 3D model of the body is something very advanced for me and making a model from scratch does take you a lot of time and even more so if you don't know anything about reptopology in the sense of making the cuts and joining the vertices in the body part and adding essential factors to make a character for animation that's why I'm learning how to do that.

  • The retopology of the face is more complex and it is where I struggle the most and find it more difficult to learn the basics necessary for a model to look beautiful and without deformation and the truth is that it cost me a lot.

  • The costume part is the most complex in the sense of making the necessary retopology so that the group follows the rig and is respected and there are no deformations, which is why it is important to do many trials and errors to find the necessary balance to create a good mesh for clothing and body.

  • And finally the hair, as the character has hair with more movement and represents the flame, it is something complex and complicated to do in 3d, that's why I design the different versions of hair that I have been doing all this time.

  • But hey, I know it's not much, but here's a small preview of the model. It doesn't have a rig or textures, it's more like the base of the model.

    - Well, it's the whole process that I've been through, I know it's not the best job and it's the first time I've done this so I would really like your opinion to see if I can improve more on this model, for my part that would be all.
