Hello fellow translators,

In this month's update, I have focused extensively on improving the quality of life (QOL) for manual translation.

Improved File Object's Note Feature

You may already be familiar with the "File Object's Note" feature, which allows us to add simple notes to object files.

I'm excited to announce that we have made significant enhancements to this feature. Now, when you hover your mouse over a file object, you can easily view the notes associated with it.

On top of that, you can also define a custom color for your note.


The impact on you as a Translator

The "File Object's Note" feature will greatly facilitate the tracking of your translation work, especially when multiple translators are collaborating on the same project. Not only can translators add notes that are visible to others, but you can also use it to leave reminders for yourself or make revisions for future reference. This feature is particularly handy if you are handling multiple projects simultaneously.


With the addition of searchable notes, you can now create keywords within the notes and filter file objects based on your specific criteria. The possibilities are endless! For example, you can mark certain file objects as "proofread" and then filter and export all the proofread file objects.


Organic Translation Indicator

Another powerful addition in this update is the organic translation indicator. This feature marks cells that have been edited or manually typed, providing you with visual insight into any manual translation made. This is especially useful during the proofreading stage when you need to quickly identify and review changes.


If you're using automation, you can also check if a cell is organic or not with a trans utility belt function :  trans.isOrganicCell(row, col, file)

Can you please tell me, if I need to translate a game in Unity and there is text in the game that exceeds 2500 characters, can I make the translator translate this text in parts?
