Thank you for all of your support.

I've received several report about problem when working on pre-extracted games. Translator++ can be used for both packed and unpacked RPG Maker games... But it still need a little tweak to handle unpacked Wolf RPG games. In this release I've fixed that.

Here is the improvement highlight on version 1.5.23

Version 1.5.23

  • Adding support for pre-extracted WOLF RPG game.
  • Fixing bug newline is missing when doing autopadding  
  • Improving some console notification outputs
  • Improving batch translation progress. Fixing waiting time overhead. (Basically, each batch translation process will be 5s faster)


My internet connection is weird lately,  I cannot upload the new version into Mega.  So for this update I'll use GDrive instead.

Do you have a 32-bit version of translater++?

Unfortunately, no. But you can build your own 32 bit version by downloading Nw.JS 32 bit version. It is fairly easy, I think you can just overwrite everything on Translator++ with your NW.JS 32 bit (except anything related to manifest.json of course) CMIIW

Hi, In WOLF games I do not have the file (data.wolf) that I can do?

Just create a new project normally. Translator++ will automatically detect whether the the data is pre-extracted or not.

hey bro ty for ur work i wanted to know is that normal when i want to use it on a rpgm VX ACE game with RVDATA2 file its said to me Warning: mb_detect_encoding(): Illegal argument in C:\*\*\Desktop\Translator++\www\php\function\trans.php on line 12 then its freeze on with the loading ? or when its worked the first time he have copied all file in a folder but didn't open them and it stop up with open cache and loading in the green bare

I keep running into a problem where "Map001.rvdata2" is the only file that is not able to be imported into translator++. The only error i get when opening and building a new project is this: Warning: mb_detect_encoding(): Illegal argument in F:\Translator++\Translator++_1.5.23\Translator++\www\php\function\trans.php on line 12 Any idea what might be going on here?

Perhaps nothing is translatable in your Map001.rvdata2. It's common that not every map data is imported. And about the warning mb_detect_encoding, you could ignore that.

Yeah I eventually opened it in notepad++ and there was nothing that needed translatingin there. Sorry to waste your time, appreciate the quick response though!

I'm back again with another problem. When i export the finished translation and then apply it to the game folder the game still uses japanese text. I have removed the RGSS file from the games folder so theres no possible way it could be pulling all the scripts from that.

Hi. I'm having some issues with the batch translation feature. It seems that bing is the only option that works, and even that gets stuck on "Waiting 5000 ms..." after one or two batches on any file. Any advice?

Bing has not worked well for batch translation since this programme was born unfortunately. This is due to bing accepting a lower maximum amount of characters per request compared to Google. I personally prefer bing for machine translating as it does a better job of preserving non alphanumeric characters. Which is usually the cause of script issues when auto translating. Hopefully dream saviour can sort this issue out for us as it's been going on for quite a while now.

It does not allow me to translate, I already have time when the program with VPN and I never failed until today ... HELP Error when translating data! HTTP Status : 404 Error Type : You are probably temporarily banned by your translation service! Please use online translation service in moderation

You need to configure it (tool icon, the last icon), then put in LANGUAGE title: Source Language: English. Target Language: Portuguese. Then, just hit the (two squared icons), the one with 'A' over it (Batch translation). I use GOOGLE at the source, and I put 'INITIAL' as the target column. If your extracted game already has 'INITIAL' filled with english text, either erase it before, or put in another column like GOOGLE or TRANSLATION 1.

Bing works in all files here, except the commonevents.json; others (google) will show the error 404. Atlas does not respond. when i replaced the files in www\data, is still in jp

It does not work anymore, it does not matter what I do ... change my PC and google account and continue with error 404

I am having similar problems to the ones listed above. Google gives me Error 404 and I am having trouble getting Bing to do batch translations. I've been going through and translating each map separately but some still won't go through if they have more than 1 batch.
