Minerva couldn’t contain her joy after beating that stupid Claude Wallace in the mock battle. Her leadership during the exercise resulted in her promotion to the rank of First Lieutenant. What made it even sweeter was that she finally obtained something before him. She finally beat him to the punch. Christel Ward, her good friend and Second-in-Command, convinced the jubilant First Lieutenant to celebrate the occasion. Minerva knew exactly what she had in mind as they made their way to her personal quarters. Unknown to most, one of her guilty pleasures was having her feet tickled. To laugh without a care in the world.  Once away from prying eyes Minerva exposed her bare feet, eagerly awaiting the stroking motions from Christel’s feathers. As much as she wanted to let loose, she couldn’t risk her laughter being overheard. If her secret was discovered, it would tarnish her delicately-crafted image and reputation. More importantly, Claude would find out and he must never know.
