I feel as though this is missing a few beats. Also giving him under six months to live and then having his face explode DURING the phone call where he's saying he has less than six months to live seems... I don't know. Wrong. If he was telling her he had six minutes to live and he's trying to tell her something important, something really heartfelt and deep and in response she is telling him about onions. Maybe that's what it is. There is too much funny on both sides of this. He needs an actual illness, something serious and heartbreaking. Explodingfaceitis is funny all by itself, it renders the can of onion commercial less funny and I think the ludicrous situation of her being in a commercial for onions that she is trying to sell to him while he is trying to actually connect with her is where the real funny is. On the other hand, what the hell do I know? Nothing, that's what.
