Lore Update (Patreon)

I have a bad habit of wanting to do too much at once, aka, biting more than I can chew most of the time.. This always comes bite me in the butt. And when it comes to surprises, I love surprising. 

This piece was meant to be a surprise for you guys, but seeing as it's taking me a lot more time than I had hoped (because of some issues at home) I decided to simply show you guys a bit of it!

For the last piece of the Curious & Curiouser event, I wanted to merge the last two weeks which were Lore and Festival. 

As you can see in the image above, there you can see Oberon, aka Adrien from The Priestess and the Plague AU, sitting on top of a small forgotten shrine of his people. This would be set by the time the "Hungry Ghost" festival is happening, hence why he is eating a bowl of noodles. 

The Hungry Ghost Festival is an event where people place an enormous amount of food around shrines and graves, to offer them up at the Gods. Because Adrien's temple and people exist no more, his shrine is rarely offered a bowl by some kind stranger. But when it happens, he gladly takes the offering for himself.
