Development
This game is under the Gunsmoke Games banner, this is a completely different development team than a Sunsetriders7 game. We will be contracting all major services of this game while maintaining the design and programming in-house. This means Sunsteriders7 (SR7) will remain unencumbered to continue work on his parody titles. We are aiming to sell this game on Nutaku Store, and host it on our site for patrons. This game will be an attempt to develop in a traditional pipeline. Meaning we will go through the normal process of design, alpha, beta, post production. The design process will run while 80% of the art assets are being created. Then we move on to alpha where all the technical processes will be implemented. The beta will be the final polishing on technical and art, then the game will be sent off to get music added. Last will be post production where further Q&A will take place, while we have an advertising campaign created. The game will not have a demo, but will have a trailer that will accompany the promotion of the game. We have been actively in the design phase for roughly 2 months already. The game will be developed in the Unity Engine, allowing us all the new amazing features that Unity 5 provides, we will be designing the game in Aritcy:Draft 2.
The Game
This game will have Sunsetriders7 as an executive producer overseeing the most major aspects of the process. He will have the final say on direction and content, he will however not be involved in any of the actual development of the game, allowing him to continue on with his parody work .
The game will be a point and click style with an inventory and a movable character which you can guide around your hideout/headquarters. The game will also have a couple scenes which will be visual novel based (VN). We are hoping to try and create some morality within the world as you progress through the use of quick time events during key player choice sections, branching dialogue and permanent choices. The ending will be consistent through playthroughs but what you see, and how you get there will be all your own. We want you to guide the player through his decisions, either be a compassionate leader, or a ruthless dictator, some of your decisions will have a direct effect on who and what you experience. As this game is still in early development we don’t want to hype it too much as we understand things will change throughout the development. We are slating release for Q1-Q2 2017 and this game will be released when it is complete not a moment sooner.
The Artist
We are extremely excited to announce that Hpcritical/Hentaipatriarch will be our artist for this project. He has been around since 2008 and has been featured on Hentai-Foundry.
