SR7, I'm sold that you had a calling as a movie reviewer on top of being a fantastic artist. You could not have expressed my issues with BvS and my joy for Civil War in a more perfect manner. I enjoyed Affleck and Gadot but was very disappointed with the storytelling. Whereas, Civil War felt so carefully crafted that I was just in awe of the skill reflected in the script and direction of the film. and really the franchise as a whole. I like the analogy of Panther being a swiss army knife to get from one Avenger to the next. I kind of feel that way about Spider-Man in terms of his place in the world. He's powerful enough to hang with the Avengers but not so powerful that he can't work well with the street level guys, which is where i always feel he's at his best. His sense of humor and intelligence allow him access to most conversations as well. So it'll fun to see them both blend in to the mix from here. But yeah great in depth insight man.

Thanks for the praise! I was just really saying what was on my mind about those two movies. Too bad there couldn't eventually be a Spider-Man/Deadpool team up in movies but you never know.

Totally agree on that one. Spider-Man and Deadpool is one of my favorite team--ups from the comics. the dynamic could be a little odd with the age difference in the MCU but it didn't hurt NTW interactions in the Deadpool movie. Hopefully with Sony as a buffer, Fox and Disney can work together in the future.
