- Villain Posting -
I've gone through the villain posting and overhauled most of it. Everything seems to working smoothly but there's probably still a few things backwards in there. It's a lot of lists of variables and all the errors just steam from one character having the wrong one somewhere. Eventually they should all be nailed downed pretty easily since there isn't going to be anything added to it anymore for this stage of the game.
- Capture -
I've redone the capture system too. The posting and captures still looks and works the same. I've just updated the way they calculate things which is more just for me and making them easier to manage in the long run. The captures is one of the first things I made when I started the game so it just wasn't designed very well in the first place. Also it'll give you a little note of the what % chance of the success of a capture is like the heists do now. The system will be changed eventually, especially the UI, when there is eventually more than twelve girls to capture.
- Main City -
I added in a disable to the next night button which should fix a lot of problems people were having with missing content. Almost everything is calculated in the main city scene each time you come back to it and when you press next night. I think clicking next night too quickly might have been skipping over some calculations and causing problems. Now the button is only enabled when everything is calculated. There will be almost no difference but it should solve those problems with people missing the Joker events and such.
- Events -
I'll see how far I can get working on more events and progression. It doesn't seem like much gets done but ever piece needs to written, programmed in, art drawn, inserted, and then testing it out. I'll try to get one or more characters closer to a stage of completion. I'd like there to be a lot of variety and unique events for each character but it not really realistic. In the future I could see each one having a lot of content but months and months down the road. For now each one will definitely have an unlocking progression and hopefully a couple unique events/side quests for bonus scenes.
- Meta-Bordello -
Meta-Bordello will be in the next release but just as Glamour Slam when it started there won't be anything in it for the time being. I'm not going to start on the art for it yet since I'm still designing how it's going to be laid out. It'll just be the first level when it completed for this stage of the game. Eventually I'd like the heroines to have there own progressions/corruptions/etc. but that will be a ways away for now. I've added in "room" for most of these things but they just won't be in the first version. In the future there will be different event lines to go down with them and different device properties to apply to them.
- Lex Room Posting -
I've finished the Lex room posting for the villains. Whether the art will be in there or placeholders by the build release it's tough to say. I'd like to get that completed since the hired villains have the most simple progression and the less content than others. They are more of a filler that you can pay cash to take up anytime where as the others things need to be unlocked through progression.
Generally this should be one of the biggest content updates to the game by the end of November. A lot of new art and progression are already in. I'd like to get to the mid-game with this update but we'll see how it goes. Like I said I'd like there to be a lot to do with each character but I have to balance that against all of them getting some content. It's shaping up to be a good step forward with bug fixes and content but it still early in the month. Anything can happen in a another few weeks.
