Recent Satisfaction Post Thoughts. (Patreon)

When we decided to run a satisfaction poll, it was due to a couple events. Firstly, for years we aggregated messages across numerous platforms (forums, discord, private messages, anonymous boards) and came to a conclusion as to what our fans were looking for. Recently we have noticed that several sites, allow/promote negative sentiments towards creators. Harsh criticism is fine and we are all for that, but misinformation, and out right lies intending to hurt the creator we are not OK with. When we recognized this, we decided to just focus on our community, or places that support creators and moderate incorrect/harmful messaging.

The second event that came up was a talk we were having leading up to the last release. In typically SR7 style we wasn't exactly happy with the build, but felt it was good. After the release we went to the usual channels and watched the reaction. Patreon was mostly good, but the public side would have you think SR7 only drew one picture in the cycle. So we began discussing why there was a great divide from public boards, and Patreon. This is when we decided to use a poll to see the overall satisfaction level people had with the amount of content. SR7 gave himself a 3-4 out of 5 and we let you all tell us how you felt. We couldn't be happier with the results.

So 75.3% of you thought the same as us! This was a great sign as we gained massive confidence in knowing that we are on the same page as you guys.

So in closing, after every release we will do some sort of satisfaction type poll. It may be on content volume, character selection, scene choices, etc. These bi-monthly polls will help us get a better picture of what you all the supporters feel and how we need to direct the creative energies that be.
