SU 2.2.225 Release – Shiva Blasting (Patreon)

As was previously stated, the last bit of 2.2.2’s dev cycle went pretty poorly. In order to get the update out on time the decision was made to cut a couple scenes that were originally intended. Normally when something like that happens the scenes are tacked onto the following update, but this time they were so few we decided to make a special bug fix build and add the content too!

It’s not much, but it’s still new content in addition to the bug fixes, which is why the version numbering is ending in 5 instead of the usual bugfix moniker.

The Black Screen Cells Issue

We assumed that most people were already aware of, and fixed, the black screen cells issue as it was a bug that occurred in a previous update. However, it’s become clear from some of the feedback that this isn’t the case. 

The Fix: If you’re having this issue, where the game seems completely borked and you get black screens no matter who you visit, all you have to do is visit the Vault and watch a scene or two to reset the issue that’s causing the problem to occur. 

The issue itself has been resolved but there’s no way for us to fix your old saves if they already were experiencing the issue. 

Expectation Management

To be clear, this doesn’t mean you should expect new content with every bug fix. 

We never intentionally hold back content that’s ready to go and don’t have stuff just waiting in the wings. Even when SR7 says he has some content “done” ahead of time it usually means that content is only done up to a point and still remains incomplete to some extent.
