Roadmap 2.1.8 (Patreon)

Content

Last month we felt we made good on several aspects of our workflow. We focused on cell content, added a great deal of scenes (40+) and had a very good update. Moving forward we will continue to focus on cells.

2.1.8 Roadmap


- No more addition of any girls moving forward! We will explore character addition once the game is in a more completed state
- Yacht Event! (Been a year in creation)
- Misc cell content.

We reviewed the roadmap poll and tabled both WW, and Starfire. Starfire is in the same state as Terra is and would be a nice easy addition to some content in the coming builds. As for WW, she needs to be chipped away at, and will eventually get into a state as several other girls with animations needed.

Animations discussion

We discussed the possibility of removing variants in the animations (meaning costumes), this was an unpopular idea with us. We will eventually get to a situation where animations will be the only thing left to add. At that point animations will be the only thing on the plate and won't compete for time with other things. This doesn't mean animations we just sit, it means that there will come a time when that is the only thing left to do (because the time requirements to do them). Currently we have a backlog of animations right now that need to be polished and implemented  (ie Raven) . We ask for your patience on this, we are working towards the finish.

Story Discussion

We had a discussion on story and direction. Right now the main focus is on both content in the cells, and the two events we have upcoming (Yacht and Halloween). Once we get to comfortable level of content in the cells we can move forward onto more story progression.

For the coming builds we are not considering the idea of character addition. That doesn't mean indefinitely. -SmokeShank

its a Good idea to focus on refining what is already in-game as it feels like a massive amount of content is missing for most of the girls, and the fact that out of the henchwomen only 2 give BJ's and we only have full on sex with Roulette not anyone else, but I do fully support this game in whatever direction its going I just believe that more progression with story stuff should come abit later after current content has been polished up and filled out with what seems to be missing e.g ensuring loyalty/sexual submission of all henchwomen complete with scenes and finishing cell content+misc content with female villains for hire (Livewire Cheeter Ivy)

May I ask why removing variants in the animations is unpopular with your team? It seems like it would save you a ton of work.

I understand that it would be necessary to reach a point where the story has some kind of conclusion. But SU is the only place where we can see our most beloved characters in certain "situations" elaborated with talent, great art and surrounded by well-constructed and developed plots. I would be very happy and would always continue to contribute with sponsorship if SU never had a definitive end. Hope so

By variants, do you mean where the picture changes depending on what the girls wear? If so, that would probably get the biggest backlash they could possibly create.

Conclusions are good. Keeping things open-ended is also good. I'd like to see some content endings, such as in the cells, but also allow for additional content to be added later on as additional chapters. That would allow for multiple endings so that there can be a sense of completion with the girls and room for more chapters later on.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: It would be nice to see some villains show up in the Meta-Bordello to enjoy the heroines posted there. While I can see the need to focus on story in other places, it shouldn't be too much effort to use the existing sex scenes and just draw over the dudes with different villains and use it as an alternate scene.

I'd also like to see a little more action in Lex's bedroom. Is Giganta too big to get down there? How about Star Sapphire? Would also be funny to see some of the male villains posted there show up just to say, "I'll be your body guard tonight, but that's all. I don't care how much you pay me, that's where I draw the line, Luthor."

well, the addition of the scenes and focus on story is pretty much what I wanted most from this. Thank you very much, I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

I actually prefer the game to have more scenes for all girls too. I know this post is pretty old, but been meaning to say that I appreciate what you all do. I look forward to new Batgirl content, Harley content (I REALLY think the female villains should have meta and glamour scenes), and Stargirl content. If you take any suggestions on a new girl in the future, I suggest Wondergirl/Cassie Sandmark. Lets have ALL the Young Justice girls in it! But thats way down the line and I appreciate it! Thanks!
