Patreon Update - Week 7: Creative freedom, voting, and upcoming videos, Astolfo remaster, Hiring writers, Reddit, Afterword (Patreon)

First of all, thank you so much for over 200 patrons now, I'm now at a point where I'm ready to ramp things up. I have almost fully learned Davinci while making the last video (hence why it took a bit longer), and I'm looking to work together with writers, to start making videos in parallel instead of 1 at a time.

Creative freedom, voting, and upcoming videos.

When I started this project I had in mind all sorts of videos I personally would want to see, and that is also what I have made till now.

When I started making the Astolfo video, I did not yet think about how many people are even into femboys in the first place. Until I did a poll and it turns out to be 60% of you guys. Which is really not that big of a majority.

That's why from now on, I will primarily stick to the top-voted videos, and the things I know most people will enjoy.

This does not mean I lose creative freedom, as most of the ideas on the board are still ideas that I would like to see made. It just means I will refrain from doing more niche ideas that I come up with randomly, which may not be that popular.

Im making these videos for you guys after all, not for me.

I completely understand if you cancel your subscription over this, just know that I'm trying to get a new video out as soon as possible to make up for it.

Astolfo Remaster

Now for the 60% of people who do in fact enjoy femboys, and Astolfo.

I will still be making the voiced remaster of the video to make it the best it can possibly be, adding to it and refining it. It will be voiced by 2 different VA's, 1 actual femboy, and one female VA who will try to aim for a femboy tone.

Writers

As I mentioned in the beginning, I have been reaching out to professional writers to collaborate with on some projects. (and have already hired someone) I'm still figuring out how exactly this would work in regard to matching the script to the available media, but I'm pretty sure I can make this work.

This could potentially up the quality of the videos and increase the production speed at the same time, which would be amazing.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Also, this goes without saying but the writers will be fully credited of course.

Reddit

Since I announced that I started a new subreddit called r/hjoi, Xan and Bunny from JOIgang who manage r/HentaiJOIPorn have reached out and wanted me to clarify the difference between the 2 subreddits.

It will basically be almost the same, except that on top of our style of JOI videos, I also want to allow VRC JOI creators, JOI requests (only people offering), funscript offers, web teases, and basically everything even remotely related to Hentai Joi.

And yeah that's basically it.

It's not as if it really matters yet lol, since it only has 20 members or so. But we will see how it goes.

Afterword

Thank you for reading this far, I really appreciate all the support. I know I probably won't be able to please everyone, but I'll do my best. My main goal still is just to make the best JOI content possible, so that is what I will try to do.

PS. Yes, this is technically week 6.5 or so rounded to 7. I might selectively switch between weekly and bi-weekly going forward depending on how much there is to talk about, not sure yet.
