First of all, thank you all so much for over 100 patrons now. I just want you guys to know that I'm all in on this project and preparing to take it even more seriously than before.

Table of contents:

  • New videos
  • Writers and production
  • Game screenshots
  • Funscripts
  • Goodbye Premiere
  • Website
  • Afterword

New videos

The Astolfo video is coming along great, the structure is basically done and I only have to finish the writing. Voicing this video will be interesting, as I'm not sure how many people would actually be into an actual femboy-voiced video compared to just Astolfo, which is basically just a girl but with a dick. (might do a poll on discord)

Writers and production

My goal is basically to set up the most streamlined production workflow possible while ensuring the highest possible quality videos at the same time, and I'm in the process of figuring out what exactly that would look like.

For the video after this which would probably be a mommy nurse video, I kind of wanted to try making a basic layout and then paying an experienced writer on GWA to see what they would make of it.

This way I could already get started on the next video while the script for another is being made, that way we could increase the output significantly, as writing takes up a big part of the production. But I will have to see how well this would work in practice, and if the writing would match the content of the video well.

Game sneak peek

The game, which will basically be a way of making the videos truly interactive on PC and Mobile, is already playable but will require a lot of refinements and optimization. Here are some screenshots of the UI so far:

Funscripts for the handy

Funscripts turn out to be a bigger challenge than I previously thought. Turns out that it is not as simple as just matching the beat 1 to 1.

So because it would take up too much time I will be paying someone with more experience scripting, to do it instead. That way I can assure the quality of the scripts, and I can keep focusing on the videos.
The first script is already done and has been uploaded to the MEGA Patreon rewards for staff and up, the other one is in the works right now.

Goodbye Premiere

I can't even believe it myself, but I may be switching to Davinci Resolve after so many years of using Premiere Pro. Why I decided to switch essentially comes down to these main points:

1. stability, no random crashes (yet)

2. modern, clean, and modern interface.

3. performance (still need more time to compare but it is looking really good)

4. all in one solution, it has a daw, after-effects functions, professional color grading, and media encoder all built into 1 package.

5. price, I can't even believe that their free version is so powerful

6. cloud collaboration, this was the initial reason for me looking into Davinci Resolve, and with their recently added cloud collab functionality it would make working with anyone online on a project very easy, not to mention cheap. Compared to Premiere Pro where you would need 2 separate 33€/ month business plans for it.

I'm yet to find any downsides but we will see with time if this was the right move.

Website

While it is absolutely not a priority right now, I am going to be setting up a website to basically show everything the project has to offer in 1 place. Not much to say on this as it will probably be a slow process of building it up to something presentable.

Afterword

Lastly, I doubt many people will read all of this but I just like to show how things are coming along for the few who are interested.

I'm absolutely still in the stage of figuring things out and even though I'm doing seemingly lots of things, I know that the only thing that matters in the end, is making the best joi content possible.

Thank you a lot for your support, and for making this possible!
