CHAPTER 9

"Ahhh... I'm so tired..."

Sin groaned as he sinks into his sofa. Today was such a tiring day, and the wound that he took from Issei hasn't even healed yet for some reason!

And he had class today. Ugh...

Looking at the time on the clock in the wall, he groaned louder. It was currently 2.14 a.m. He has class in 5 hours, give or take.

"Maybe I should call in absent..."

But then Sona would piece the dots and then his teaching career will be screwed.

Taking off his clothes and leaving his boxers on, he went to the fridge to grab a nice cool beer. Cracking it open, he takes a big gulp, walking back to his seat before relaxing.

Hopefully Asia would wake up before he goes to school, so that the punch mark on his face wouldn't expose him as That Man.

... Heh. The Flames of Corruption and then That Man. The Guilty Gear and the Devil. The irony was there.

"Crap, crap, crap...!"

Sin muttered as he jogged to school. It was now 7.24, and he woke up at 6.47, and Asia had woken up at 7 a.m. sharp.

"Uwawawaaa!"

She mumbles loudly as she entered the living room in search of Sin, watching him walk around without a shirt and cooking breakfast.

"Princess, thank goodness you're awake. I kinda need your Twilight Healing right now."

Sin said in a hurry as he walked towards Asia after placing the pan down to let the bacon cook, who's face started to get redder and redder the closer he got.

"Asia?"

He asked in confusion. Why was she so red on her face?

"Mr. S-Sin... You're... N-Not wearing..."

She stutters before suddenly kneeling on the ground and started praying to God.

"What — Princess? "

Because of whatever that was, he had to take almost 30 minutes to calm Asia down. He couldn't even get breakfast in! Well, at least his face was now healed.

Reaching the gates, he waved at Takashi-san who just chuckled at his lateness since he had never seen Sin late before.

"Morning, Sin-san! Seems like you're late today! Wonder what you did last night!"

"Haha, very funny, Takashi-san!"

Entering the staff room, he flinches slightly at the gazes on him when he power walked through the hallways.

"Sin-sama's late today..."

"Gasp! Maybe he..."

"Noooo! Not Sin-samaaaa!"

God, he was late for just a day and rumors start to spread like wildfire!

Quickly taking his material for today's class, he looked at his timetable before groaning. He had a total of 5 classes today until the afternoon, meaning he had no time for breakfast until 3 in the afternoon.

His stomach starts to growl at the emptiness, with him looking at his snack bar collection that he kept for student encouragement on the table. After thinking for a second, he grabs a few of them before power walking to his first class of the day.

Sliding the door open, he enters with his hands full of material for today, Class 1-C today had to learn about coordinates, so he made a whole ass Cartesian plane made of wood planks with holes to place coordinate points to make it easier for the kids to understand it.

He was that dedicated, sue him... And he has a lot of free time, might as well make it productive, no?

Not looking at the group of 15-year-olds, he gives them a "Morning kids!" before quickly setting the Cartesian plane on the board.

Once he was finally done, he opened one of his snack bar before looking at the class, sitting on one of the spare chairs that each class has (The school was so rich to be able to have multiple spares per class).

He noted that Koneko looked exhausted, as her eyebrows were frowned a few more angles downwards today. He noted to himself to get her more sweets after this.

"Sorry, I didn't eat breakfast, yesterday was a long, long day."

He gave a sheepish grin to which the class just laughs as he hastily swallows the snack bar before getting on with the class.

"So, coordinates!"

Returning home, he was shocked at the sudden change in the house. It was clean. Too clean.

His stack of empty beer cans were no longer next to the couch, there weren't any dust on the windows, the kitchen sink was so clean it sparkled, and worst of all, his laundry was all cleaned and hanging under the sun.

"... Asia, you pretty angel!"

He exclaims as he finds Asia who was washing the toilet, wearing a loose shirt and baggy pants (They were all his since she only had a pair of clothing), had blushed at the comment.

"M-Mr. Sin, you're back!"

She says with such a bright smile, it gave him diabetes. Ugh, his heart just went doki-doki from her presence! She would be such a good housewife!

"You didn't have to clean the house, you know? I could just call a cleaner for all this..."

"But it's payback for Mr. Sin taking care of me! It's the least I could do for Mr. Sin!"

Oh, god, she's just so precious.

"Sin, not Mr. Sin. I'm not that old."

He chuckled as Asia tried calling his name.

"S-Sin?"

She blushed hard as she covered her face in embarrassment.

"I-I can't, Mr. Sin. It's too e-embarrassing!"

Laughing at her behavior, he takes out his shirt to reveal his toned body (Asia meeped loudly and covered her eyes) under a crop top before joining Asia to cleaning the toilet, who was muttering "Uwawawaaa..." cutely.

Taking a sponge and putting some cleaner on it, they started cleaning the toilet walls and floor.

"Later when we're free, I'll teach you Japanese for school."

"Really?"

She asked with an innocent smile, happy to start learning.

"This is this vowels of Hiragana, あ (a), い (e), う(u), え (e), and お(o). Japanese is more like Mandarin and Korean than Italian and English, with the emphasis on using vowels more."

Before coming back home, he had bought kindergarten books for Japanese for Asia to learn. They were now in the basement learning on a table since it is more spacious and private.

"Some key difference in pronunciations, あ (a) is "ah", い (e) is "ee", う(u) is "ooh", え (e) is "eh", while お(o) is "ou". Get it?"

"I see..."

She had a serious face as she looked at the hiragana. Handing her an empty book along with stationary, he instructed her to write the 5 hiragana letters while following him.

"The strokes are important as well. Here, follow my lead and pronounce them once you've written each letter."

He goes slowly so that Asia could follow along as they continuously wrote all the vowels until she gets a hang of writing them.

"あ (A-Ah)? い (Ee)... う (Ooh)... え (Eeh)... お (Ouu)! I-I did it, Mr. Sin!"

She said confidently, making Sin pat her head.

"Good! That's perfect! Remember those one last time, and its pronunciation before we move on to the second row of hiragana, alright?"

"Yes!"

She nods excitedly before redoing her practice, writing eagerly as she starts to pronounce the hiragana vowels by her own.

Man, her cuteness is really getting to him. While she was busy learning the vowels, he turned around before summoning the Tome of Origin (Fake) from his heart.

It has this neat trick of merging with one's heart, so he could take it out anytime anywhere. It also had a return feature that he implemented to avoid Happy Chaos' stealing incident. Simple enough, it returns back to his heart after leaving a 5-meter radius from his heart unless he allows it.

Flipping through the book, he starts to find for space magic since if Rias Gremory's Peerage still loses to Riser Phenex after buffing each one of them permanently, he would, at least, have a backup plan.

What buffs did he give them? Well...

Why not outright buff them by 100%?

To make the fight fair, of course! How would one grow if you just give them everything?

Anyways, he'll appear in front of Issei before asking Asia to heal him, then crash the wedding and beat up Riser. Why? Because he wants to, of course! He has all this power, might as well put it into good use.

A win-win situation. He gets to reveal his identity to the supernatural and punch a git in the face, and then Rias Gremory would get a new powerful ally along with getting out of her shitty wedding.

Maybe he'll bring Asia to the Underworld? Hmm... Well, he'll cross that bridge when he gets there. For now though, he should learn more magic and decide what to wear for the occasion.
