Hey guys. So, about the poll, I see that many like Transformation as Gohru's new Quirk. Honestly, the plan was to make it a Transformation Quirk.

But.

I just watched the Avatar Series (The Last Airbender & Legend of Korra), I know I'm very late on the train, but god-damn, bending feels like the perfect Quirk change for Gohru.

Of course, I will continue to think about it to make the story as balanced and interesting (For you guys and my sanity), but fire or earth bending is just SO cool IMO.

"OK, everyone! Listen here!"

Present Mic yelled as he drew the audiences attention to himself (And Aizawa in extension). Once he knew that everyone's eyes were on him, or at least, listening, he takes out a black wristband.

"This here is a Power Measurer! By simply wearing it, the finalists can see the level and battle power of their own! Amazing!

The average person's level is 1, and the minimum level of the finalists here are 6! All Might's level is 99 for reference!

Battle power is the person's level in numbers, for example, the limit of the bands are 999, using All Might's full power as the base! The average person's battle power is 10!

These are mostly for the audience to see, hopefully to make fights more tense and hype! By the way, the wristbands are sponsored by Shield Corp, thank you very much, Mr. David!"

Midnight hands each finalist with the black wristband, you can place it anywhere, as long as it touches your skin. Wearing it on his wrist, it took a second before it beeped, showing him his details on the wristband.

Huh, the details were not right, maybe it's because he was chilling right now.

"Gohru, Gohru, what's your score?"

Looking behind him, he sees Ashido and Ochako looking at his wristband. Showing it to them, he glanced at Denji's who was just beside him.

Ochako noted as she sheepishly chuckled. 

"Mine's only 71..."

"Now that everyone has gotten used to the wristbands, it's time for the first round! Everyone except the fighters, please leave the battlegrounds and wait for your turns!"

Midnight orders as they left the stage to their classes' seats to watch the tournament.

When the first round was about to start, there was a hologram floating above the stage showing the fighter's picture, and stats according to the wristband.

The first fight went as canon, with him using 100% after getting brainwashed at the start of the round.

It seems that the wristband tracks your current battle power and level in real time, so Quirks increase the level and battle power when used. Midoriya's level and BP did increase the instant he used 100% of One for All on both fingers, but the system didn't register it. Maybe it was too fast for it?

"— hanks to my Quirk, I've been behind from the start! Someone like you who's been blessed can't understand, can't you!"

Shinso said desperately as he tried to get Midoriya to answer him back, but Midoriya kept his mouth shut as he ran towards Shinso. 

"Someone like you who was born with the ideal Quirk! Someone who can REACH YOUR GOAL!"

Without thinking about it, One for All activated, starting Full Cowl at 4% at the emotions in his head, causing his whole body to shudder in pain at the overcapacity.

Midoriya Izuku

Battle Power: 87 -> 104

Looking at him with his lips bleeding from the biting to stop himself from talking back, he leaped as he cocked his hand back, his eyes tearing up as he swung. 

SMASH!

He slams his fist, causing Shinso to spit out saliva at the sudden shock. Dropping to the ground, Midoriya grabbed him through his sport uniform's collars, wincing at the pain of his two broken fingers as he drags Shinso's body to the out-of-bounds line. 

Reacting quickly, Shinso who toughened out the pain of his stomach, grabs Midoriya's collar with his offhand before punching him in the face. 

Without faltering, Midoriya's face snapped back with the eyes of a determined man as he twists his body, focusing on placing all his gravity downwards for more stability as he lifts Shinso up. 

Letting one hand go from the collar, he grabs Shinso's hand for more stability and grip as green sparks flashed brighter at his will to win. 

He eventually gets enough power to rotate and spin Shinso in a full circle, building up enough momentum before throwing him out of the stage as hard as he could, clenching his butt cheeks together as he yelled in the deeps of his heart.

One For All: 6% Full Cowl — Oklahoma Smash!

WHOOSH! THUD!

Shinso's body flew as it falls out of bounds. Midoriya pants, his uninjured arm holding onto his other wrist, as he stares at his downed opponent.

"Shinso is out of bounds! Midoriya wins!"

Midnight announced as Present Mic yells into his microphone.

"The first person to advance to the second round... Is Class 1-A's MIDORIYA IZUKU!"

SHHHHKKKKKK!!!

An enormous ice ridge shot out as it almost engulfs the whole stadium, the temperatures of the stadium dropping instantly as the stadium shook from the attack. 

Whistling at the icepower (Firepower, icepower. Get it? I used this last chapter I think :0), Gohru regulates his breathing with Total Concentration Breathing to warm himself up as the others shivered in place at the coldness. 

BEEP!

"Hmm?"

Looking down, he sees that his BP (Battle Power) had risen from 187 to 194. Stopping his unique breathing, the BP reduced back to its original number, making him nod. It seems that his theory of it updating real time was proven.

Sero who was directly in the ice, mutters something, probably something along the lines of "Isn't this too much?" from his movement of his mouth as Midnight called the match. 

"Sero is immobilized! Todoroki advances to the second round!"

Walking towards Sero, Todororki starts to burn the ice off Sero as he muttered an apology on his own. 

The match in just two seconds, making the audience gape at the amount of icepower the dude had before starting to chant. 

"""Don't mind it."""

Honestly, Gohru wanted to chant for Sero too. He just got fucked so hard because of an emotional Todoroki. Unlucky fella.

"Starting the third match! Introducing, the Sparking Killing Boy! Fom the Hero Course, Kaminari Denki!"

Kaminari Denki

"Versus!

From the same class and Hero Course, the current World Champion and Martial Art's master, Jin Gohru!"

The crowd cheered much harder when he was introduced by Present Mic, causing Kaminari to just sulk at the lack of attention he was given. 

"This match will be flashy! This match will be entertaining! This match will finally be not boring!"

He commentated as the hype increased, causing Gohru to frown at the noise. Honestly, it was getting on his nerves. 

"Ready... GO!"

Kaminari instantly went on the offensive the moment the round started with a confident smirk, making Gohru raise his eyebrow.

He had honestly thought that he was just going to charge at him blindly before using all his Quirk's juice, but it looks like he has a plan — 

Once Kaminari got 3 meters close to Gohru (Gohru wanted to see what he was up to), he stopped as his smirk turned into a grin.

"Champion or not, no one can just shrug millions of volts! Take this! Indiscriminate Shock — 5 Million Volts!"

Electricity surges around his body before it discharges in an area of effect, targeting anything in its radius. 

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!

While the volts of lightning were travelling towards him, Gohru just facepalmed before jumping 30 feet high into the sky, dodging the sphere of electricity. 

Since it only had a radius of about 10 meters, Gohru landed at least 15 meters away from it, watching as he electrocutes his brain with a sigh. 

"It was decided in an instant! I'll say it once more, an instant! Jin Gohru successfully dodges the lightning perfectly and made it out without even touching his opponent!"

'... Ugh... Kaminari...'
