as far as i know Amphibia was always supposed to be 3 seasons and wasn't shortened or anything

Pretty sure it was three seasons, I know Disney wanted the creator to change certain things like aging the girls down, they were originally supposed to be 16 instead of thirteen. So there probably might have been other things that were watered down in the show as well. To better fit Disney's wishes.
