With the Kansas thing in the Steven Universe world all of the states and countries are mixed up/combined like the state beach city is in is called Delmarva which is DELaware, MARyland,VirginiA as one state.

I agree with the idea that there’s a spark at first sight and I think the show does too. Even Steven only first saw Connie for a few seconds at a parade, saved her glow stick for a year, then failed miserably at manufacturing a meet-cute. But over these episodes they’ve developed such a natural relationship.
