Hey Everyone! I thought it would be fun to put out a Movie Genre Poll to narrow down some great films that we can watch. Vote for the genre that you are in the mood for! I'll put up a movie suggestions post with the winning genre.

If you do decide to try out some horror maybe consider some of the classics from the 70s & 80s as they aren’t quite as graphic as modern horror. I mean they still have some gore but back then they had to do more with less. If you haven’t seen them already I’d recommend Alien and Terminator. Both have arguably the most iconic female protagonists in cinema history for the last half century, Ellen Ripley (Alien) & Sarah Conner (Terminator). I’d also recommend both sequels, Terminator 2 and Aliens (Aliens is Alien 2, I don’t know why they chose a plural), but definitely the Aliens extended cut. Watching both women’s character development through both originals and sequels is incredible. Maybe an idea for October.

I've always wanted to see Alien since it is such a classic! I saw Terminator when I was a little kid and it terrified me...I don't know what my parents were thinking!
