I think I actually laughed as Savanah attempts to kill Joy by murder/suicide, gets out of the totaled car, turns around and says, "I forgive you, Joy", and then runs off into the sunset to prey on some other con victim. is the show called Apples Never Fall referring to the phrase, "Apples don't fall far from the tree", because this show just felt like two parents with poor communication skills had four children with poor communication skills. 7 episodes later, que cheery band music. I liked it too. It had a lot of interesting character drama throughout. It just felt very anticlimactic. Maybe there's only so much you can do with 7 episodes.

Your interpretation of the title was very similar to mine. I think it does stem from that phrase. I agree that the show was anticlimactic in the end. So much was glossed over in the last episode. I would have loved for something more dramatic to have happened.
