This expansive stretch of forest is found deep within a larger swath of forest. This area is normally quite idyllic, with the sound of the rivers and waterfalls permeating all around here. An ancient, long forgotten ruin still stands high up on a rock outcropping, overlooking two incredibly massive trees. The entrance to a cave is nearby as well, with what appears to be an active trail leading right up to it.

Here are some adventure ideas for your heroes!

- Retrieve the Documents: Somewhere in these woods is thought to be the long lost corpse of a messenger. They were supposed to be carrying some very sensitive documents with them, but were simply never found. Should the party manage to find these documents still intact, the local guard would pay quite well to have those papers finally in their possession.

- Explore the Caverns: Lately, goblin attacks have been on the rise. For some time, no one knew where they were coming from, but thanks to the efforts of some local youngsters, a cave entrance was discovered within these woods. Goblins travel back and forth so often that they've managed to kill the grass along the path, making it fairly easy to find their cave, should someone be looking. Upon clearing out the Goblins, the town throws the party a celebration and offers them free lodging for as long as they'd like

- Defeat the Undead: The ruins located atop the rocky outcrop are no ordinary ruins. Every night at midnight, the dead claw their way up and out of the ground, only to shamble aimlessly throughout the ruins. No one has dared to approach in some time now, after some of the local guard never returned. The heroes don't need to solve the mystery of the rising undead for a reward, they simply need to find and retrieve the bodies of the guard detail that went missing here.

- Forgotten Fairy Ring: Located near the lake and the two massive trees is an unassuming stump. Little do most who have passed through here know, it's actually a Fairy Ring. Should the party happen to wait around it at night, eventually the mushrooms begin to glow and fairies begin to appear all over the stump. This quest could take a number of turns, as fairies are quite mischievous.
