A Date with Death Beta Day 2 - 5 (Patreon)

SOLARIS TIER: Welcome to the A Date with Death Beta!

This beta build contains four additional days of the game (5/7 are present in this build)!

NOTE: Demo/old saves will NOT work for this build. Please start a new playthrough! We're hoping to allow Patreon players to bring their saves over to the full version of the game when it releases, however.

Some additional hotfixes added to the day 5 beta! Please download this one for a more bug-free experience, and if you're on the old build, make sure if you report a bug it hasn't already been fixed!

• Please, please, please don't stream or record playthroughs of these builds. They're not ready for everyone to see yet. We want to give the best impression to players, so please wait until the game is officially out before streaming it.
• It’s okay to share some non-spoilery screenshots on social media. If you share any images, we ask you also share a link to the Patreon. Help us make the game better!
• Please use this spreadsheet to report any bugs/spelling mistakes/crashes you get so we can look into them!

Demo Build Change Notes

This build contains day 1-5 of A Date with Death. It is much longer than the original demo/beta! It's mostly complete, however please check the known issues/things we're working on list for what's still incomplete.

Changelist:

• Added days 3, 4 and 5 to the game.
• Added new websites to play around with on each day
• Added new CG
• Added new emotes
• Fixed some bugs relating to the hamster on day 2
• Added new character creator
• Added new biography maker
• Added accessories
• Fixed old chat message from being displayed on day 5
• Fixed [cute] crash
• Fixed bug with taking photo of your hamster on day 5
• Fixed various layering issues in the character creator (moles, freckles, piercings should now show beneath hair)

Known issues/things we're still working on:

• Fem outfit recolours not yet in game.
• Adding scrollbar to outfit menu of character creator.
• Short stories are not yet on the bookshelves on day 2-5.
• Working on updating Grim's status/pfp on each day still.
• Computer - adding a way to change nickname and pfp for player.
• Emotes getting cut off when playing in full screen mode (if this DOESN'T happen to you while playing in full screen mode, please let me know!).
• Further DLC options to be added to character creator.
• Adding warning to the paint program when deleting an image.
• We're still adding a few conversations here and there throughout all of the days.
• Rollback will be turned off for the full release - it is turned on for testing purposes in this build.

(Tip from Patron Joyokai on Mac: just a tip for those on mac, if you try to open the application it might say something like "cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified". its just a security system thing on mac. If you want to open in, go to finder, find the app after you download it, and do control+click and select the open option!)
