Hello lovely Patrons!

Somehow it's already December and the end of the year is quickly approaching. We're working towards finishing up some milestones for the year before we take a small break over Christmas/New Years.

But, for now, let's jump into our December update!


The Sun and the Moon

Art

Fuyuure is still working on the CGs for the prequel, though right now is focussing on the Leos DLC CGs before we get back to them.

Here's a little preview of one of the upcoming CGs:

Programming

We're working on the latter half of the game now in the programming department. The first half of the game has been fully tested, with only two CGS to be implemented when they're complete.

Beta Build

We just uploaded a brand new beta build for those on the Solaris tier!

Here's a little look at what we've added/changed:

  • Two new completed CGs
  • Two new sketch CGs
  • Two new sprites/characters
  • Reformatted gallery
  • Over 35,000 words long
  • New music
  • Many new backgrounds

The Divine Speaker: A Bounty Hunter's First Christmas


Art

All mini CGs for our Leos afterstory are complete and you can see a preview of one of them above!

Fuyuure has also sent the sketches for the two brand new NSFW scenes in the game. You will have a choice between a Leos top or a Raen top scene. Yes, you can top Leos for the very first time!

Writing and editing

We have completed all writing on this project, and it has come out at approximately 26,000 words... as long as some full games!

We had an absolute blast revisiting these characters, and you'll find a mix of light-hearted Christmas fun and hints towards where some characters will be going in the future of The Divine Speaker.



Programming

The game is nearly finished the initial coding stage. Once that is complete, I will go through the build to check for consistency, spelling mistakes or errors. We will also add the music at that stage, too.


As the DLC will be releasing this month, now is the perfect time to be on the Solaris tier to play it as soon as it releases!


Dreambound

Art

On the character art side of things, Sinran has been finishing up on a hand ful of CGs and working on our two backer character sprites.

During our Kickstarter, two people chose to make characters for Dreambound, and one out of two sprites are already complete.

Let's take a look at a preview of a backer character:

In the background department, we have completed all of our base backgrounds. We are still planning three additional point-and-click section BGs. We may also add some extra backgrounds as we write the last two routes.


Programming

We are currently working on programming the second escape room. Writing and coding them takes a fair chunk of time - as does testing, as you can imagine.

Here's a couple of screenshots from our process:

This escape room works quite differently to the last - instead of looking around a room, you will focus on six people who have been important to the dreamer throughout his life, working through their issues and retrieving items they need from other people. It will be a much more dialogue focussed room!


And that's it for December!

We'll also be taking a little break around Christmas/New Years to celebrate with family. For everyone that celebrates it, I wish you a merry (early) Christmas, and for those that don't, I hope you have a great December!
