Introducing the first love interest in Dreambound, Kaine! Kaine and Noah are/were childhood friends. Their relationship these days is a little more strained, due to Noah withdrawing from everything.

He works in a cushy government job, though dreamed of being a chef as a teenager. He gave up his dreams in pursuit of helping Noah, even if he doesn't realize it.

Kaine is quite charismatic and charming, and easily makes friends. He also likes to tease people (e.g Noah) and mess around a little, though he's grown out of that by necessity.
