I've got about a half a chapter for Eric done, I should have it ready tonight after the new year party.

I plan to spend a bit of time this week working on editing (not fun, I know). And then I will knock out the first chapter of three different books I have plotted so that you can select from them. Expect those probably by Friday.

Book 1: A very crunchy LitRPG following the life of a professional skills trainer for nobility...and what happens when you push a man with an iron will too far.

Expect a highly competent MC with a ruthless attitude, the LitRPG aspect takes center stage and would have lots of skill descriptions and boxes. The main character's whole life revolves around skills; earning them and teaching them. They take center stage along with the character's willingness to use and abuse them to conquer his enemies.

Book 2: A reincarnation story in a LitRPG type world, but their will not be any skill boxes or status screens. It's a more 'natural' version of the trope. Namely, people can find out, internally, anything they want to know about themselves in whatever way is the most useful for them to understand it. The MC is reincarnated into this world and has the advantage that he can read, write, and do arithmetic. This lets him measure and understand himself like a noble.

Average Joe, fish out of water story. Main character is socially adroit and adaptable, expect almost no tables, but the *ideas* of what such a measuring of self would mean in a world will be center stage. Both good and bad and every way it would skew society.

Book 3: A LitRPG reincarnation story with a twist. Our main character is a common everyday farmers son who is a slacker and does everything he can to avoid work. That is, until one day voices start talking to him in his head. They claim to be him from alternate worlds reincarnated into him, and these voices want him to work hard, they also seem to know what they are doing. They also mention that when he dies he will join them and be reincarnated into another alternate him in another alternate world with alternate laws to the universe...they would like him to avoid that for as long as possible.

Status and skill box content will be somewhere between the first two. It will exist and matter, but it's the interaction between the main character's inner world and the other versions of him vs his outer experience that comes into play more than anything. The skill system is a means to an end in the story instead of the focus.
