Age of Victoria - Chapter 1, got an excellent first pass editing this morning. I hit some passive voice usage, changed some word choices, slightly modified some text to more clearly convey emotions, etc. It wasn't so much a technical edit, but instead a clarity edit.

So goes having a first chance at reading my work; you get it raw.

After work I plan to hit chapter 2, depending on how tired I am, I may post directly or wait until I've done my first pass editing on it.

I usually do my first pass editing before I post, it helps me feel less like an amateur.

As to The Dungeon Traveler, I've edited another two chapters. I'm hoping to hammer out a few more before bed as well. I'm mostly waiting on the illustrations though. As the joke goes, only so much you can polish a turd!

My wife dislikes that joke, but the truth is, as an artist (in more than one form), once you reach a certain point of review and correction and 'fixing' you need just to stop. Partly to avoid ruining the original vision, and partly to avoid getting disgusted with the repetition and mistaking that for disgust with the work itself.
