and one more work in progress - I am calling it done for today!  I think it looks pretty neat with these base shadows and highlights (yet a lot of flats and accessories awaits to be added. no worries about that)

by the way, the bg is a bit brightened, so I can focus on drawing the characters for now. I don't want anything to distract me from the girls! >:)
