There seems to be something wrong with Ponyville, go check on Zecora, she might have not been affected by whatever happened.

Something is amiss here, don't ask the ponies of Ponyville for info, but ask to your friends outside of town. Zecora, Plunderseed or the Timber Dragon may know what's going on, and perhaps your bodyguard may seek you once outside of town.
