Perhaps a bit of cleaning could brighten the mood, just be very carful not to break anything.

Cleaning the castle wouldn't hurt just make sure that you don't break anything and maybe get some flowers if you can. While you're cleaning do you wonder how what you will say to the princess. Also making someone breakfast you have not met before is risky Plus you are from a race who doesn't have the best reputation so cleaning would be the safest action

You don't want to get any pony else in trouble. You ask if there is some kind-of box or cart they can get so you can hide in it but, Fluttershy said you don’t need to hide. So, you just walk alongside with Fluttershy to the Crystal Castle. Ponies around you look at you with curiosity. But, you can feel no hatred from them. When a Royal Guard sees you, Fluttershy tells him that you are under her protection. They just leave you and cancel the search, lowering the alert level. Fluttershy brings you to the castle lobby and tells you to wait for Twilight here. She will awaken and come down soon. She leaves you to feed her animal at home. You look around the very big castle. It seem hollow and silent like the princess living here is all alone. And, it’s so dusty like the princess has no assistant to take care everything. Your teacher said that the first impression is important, so you want to do something to greet your aunt. But what will you do? (You can choose only one) 1. Clean the house. (She might not have time to clean the castle because her royal duty, but you can do it.) 2. Make her breakfast. (Your aunt might hungry when she wakes up and you know how to make pancakes.) 3. Just sit still and do nothing. (You don’t want to take a risk and make a mistake to enrage your aunt.)

Clean the house. You would not want your (apparently) aunt to worry about you trying to poison her or something like that by cooking for her. Cleaning is the safe option.

Its a nice idea to either make breakfast or clean, but if you do either, don't do it alone. See if there is anyone around who can help you. If there is, they will know their way around the castle, you don't. If you can find anyone, explain to them what you want to do and why and ask for their help.

In the Hive, rooms would never be allowed to get so untidy. Surely a bit of cleaning would be appreciated here, but leave the books alone. Twilight might have their places memorized, and you don't want to mess that up for her.

Trying to cook is out of the question, and while it might be tempting to try and clean up a little, going around touching and moving things in someone else's house before you've even met them might not be the best first impression. If you want to clean up anything, just tidy up your saddlebags and set them neatly next to the couch, then do exactly what you were told to do: wait. If it comes up in the conversation with your Aunt, you can mention that you thought about cleaning, but were unsure about moving her things without her permission.
