How about a Discord server? (Patreon)

This is something I've been considering doing for a while, but I know it can be a lot of responsibility, and I'm not really sure how it'll turn out. But I'd really like to see a proper community build up around MVOL, a place where people who enjoy the game can connect, and where folks can always go to discuss the game or get help.

So for now, let's call this an experiment. I'm only opening this up to my patrons at the moment, though depending on how it goes I may post links to the public later. I'd be honored if you guys would join me in kicking off my own little server.

I'd like to keep it a pretty relaxed, friendly place to chat. I may not always be super talkative, but I plan to be around and at least lurking a lot of the time, maybe answering questions here and there. I hope you can come have a good time, and maybe make a new friend or two!

If you're not familiar with Discord, it's a pretty popular messaging service. You can install an application to use it on your PC or Mac, as well as on just about any mobile device, and probably some other places. It's great for voice chat, though I see it mostly used for text. It's a great casual way to connect with folks, and it's easy and free to sign up! Just follow the link and it should take care of everything you need.
