"Thanksgiving was rough," said Carol J. as they wiped their brow. The odor of gravy and turkey clung to their clothes, but there was a certain satisfaction in their exhaustion. "Thank goodness it's over, though! After all..."

"...I'm sure Christmas will be a lot easier to deal with!" Carol J. exclaimed in what will likely go down as one of the least accurate predictions of all time.

So, yeah. Between the holidays and my "real" job, there wasn't much time (or energy) left to work on writing. I did, however, get the "first" chapter of my collaborative story with GigglingGoblin done! I should think it goes without saying that you should check out her stories, because it's her story Monstrous Ranch that actually inspired me to pick up the "pen" again.

Once you're done pledging your loyalty unending/patronage to her, though, I'd advise you to check out my half of the prologue, attached to this post! The full chapter will be going up on MCStories in a week or so, but until then you can get acquainted with Ricard and Gretel, two halves of the respective protagonistic and antagonistic groups.

In the days to come, I'm going to put up a post detailing my reflections on expectations I had for this Patreon, how I met or failed to meet them, and how I intend to change what I do to make sure you all get the best writing you can from me as often as I can get it to you.

As always, thank you for your support! I hope you enjoy the prelude!

Did Ch1 ever make it to MCStories? I can't seem to find it.

Hi. Just wanted to say how much I have been looking forward to a collaboration between two such wonderfully inventive writers. Gretel looks very interesting and the honey girl was inspired. Looks like Felix and Ricard are going to have a very interesting time.
