As a young swiftie I felt like she had no clue how great songs like Cold As You and Sad Beautiful Tragic actually were, because they weren’t fan favorites and no one really mentioned them to her in meet and greets or anything. It always felt like my favorite songs were ones that no one ever hyped and I felt they weren’t beloved even by Taylor 😭 I didn’t even have Cold As You on my surprise song wishlist bc she hasn’t played it since the Red tour (I think!) and that was the one and only time she ever played it otherwise. 

The surprise songs on this tour feel SO much more special, because she’s playing SO many deep cuts and talking about them and what they mean to her 💗 it makes me feel like ANY song can be played and that makes me so excited!!!!
