To me, despite To Pimp A Butterfly still being his beat imo, this is his deepest album lyrically. It's a new level of introspection, even for an artist that was already so introspective. To me its comparable to Some Rap Somgs by Earl Sweatshirt in terms of its themes and even sonically, given that it's a bit more experimental, compared to Damn and Good Kid Maad City.

I really need to listen to them all again. Right now GKMC is my favourite... but a relisten to it all could change that!

GKMC is my friends favorite, definitely my second favorite. I showed a diffrent friend who doesn't like rap at all Sing About Me im Dying of Thirst recently, which got him to listen to the whole album and it made him a fan.
