Makes me think once again how S5 openers could've been different had Spike been taken along. Sure, it makes some sense why he wasn't, but there's also enough sense to indeed take him, given he's proven he's not a useless baby... and he would've been particularly useful there. Also, there is definitely, by far, not enough interpretations of them as superheroes and supervillains like so. Glimmer makes a great supervillain turned superhero.
