I'm not accustomed to management. There are lots of things for me to juggle and I'm having trouble adapting. I'm aiming to have the comic pages done by the 28th. I don't think I'll hit that mark. Chances are I'll fall short like always. Next week I should have an update for you guys on the situation of the Captain Lo story as well as some charged posts to make sure I'm not homeless next month.

Ideally my goal for this Patreon is to have an outlet to create erotic art that I enjoy and people enjoy supporting. The tough part is staying in a groove of creativity. I know I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record. You guys are helping, your suggestions and comments always motivate me.

I'm attaching a little teaser sketch. Enjoy.

Hey Pit. Sorry to hear about your current situation. Starting up a business is never easy and as an artist myself (though a horribly bad amateur-artist with no talent whatsoever), I know that keeping creativity at a steady flow is difficult. However, I hope you are able to soldier through it. I, for one, am happy that you are going solo and will continue to support your art for as long as I have the means. Your output so far has been awesome and I can't wait to see what comes next.

Hey Pit, thanks for the update and I hope you are to get through the hunch. Perhaps you could try doing a live stream? Having your audience watch you and encourage you can help sometimes! Anyways keep up the wor, you're one of the first patreons that have actually kept my attention.

Hey Pit,love the teaser.I had a suggestion for Illumi.I noticed that Gladiator Gangbang and Oversized Orc Oral are almost tied with Gangbang having 48 votes and Orc Oral having 45.Would it be possible for maybe...Oversized Gladiator Orcs Gangbanging Illumi while she gives oral to one (a combination of both since they're both nearly tied with votes)?

BloodFX

Nice to hear from you sir! Thanks for the teaser and it's just nice to hear from you and get an update every now and again, but your art is welcome! =)

Hey Pit, have you ever heard of Cal Newport? He has a lot of really simple suggestions for getting impressive amounts of work done without going insane that have helped me a ton, and he's specifically geared towards creative/knowledge work. I know it sucks to deal with work/life sometimes, I just hope you aren't too overwhelmed and that Patreon will be sustainable for the long term.

Angelo

Sorry to be that guy but I gotta say this is disappointing. You said March Monster Madness would have weekly comic pages and you still haven't released a single one. Now you're talking about charged posts for next month's content and you haven't even delivered on this month's.

Hey dude, this is certainly a new venture for you, and me as this is my first forray into patreon. I'm going to keep it quite simple....when I paid for 30 days of content at a time at jp.com it used to drive me crazy when there was no new posts from you But this time it's different, you are in effect self employed and you have the balancing act of creating what your sponsors desire versus making the art you wanna make, I (and I'm sure all patrons) would love to have an input into what you create and how frequent you upload, but I get that sometimes we can be a bit naggy For me quality over quantity wins every time and for the record you're quality is epic on here and I'm never going to grumble when an upload comes On a sidenote, I'm replaying the old classic of day of the tentacle on ps4; and as such there is bonus concept art, it's really made me realise how much work is involved from sketches to inking to relining pieces. As such I've upped my patronage to the top whack to discover your layers. IMHO all these peeps bitching about your frequency are just pissed that they cannot do what you do!

Well it's no real problem for me. Less output only equates to paying less each month. If this was a monthly subscription basis then it'd be an irritant, but with this system you can afford to take your time with little real consequence.

The teaser looks awesome. =)

Appreciate you keeping us informed of what's going on. Do your thang brutha, we'll be here when you get back.

Such is life when you're a creative type. While I'm not in the visual arts, I suffer from the same peaks and valleys. There are days or weeks where there aren't enough hours in the day to match output. Then there are those days or weeks where the inspiration or motivation just isn't there. One thing I've done to help during those valley periods is to make it a point to do something... anything, for at least 5 minutes every day, no exceptions, no excuses. I tell myself 5 minutes isn't a lot of time to spare out of a day. Sometimes those 5 minutes are spent doing nothing but scales. Other times those 5 minutes turn into 20-30-60 minutes because something came to me while doing finger exercises. The thing is to hold yourself to those 5 minutes. Now, this may not work for you, but it's something to try.

I know this is a big change from your former radio silence and single site experience in the past. I think you're adapting fine! Most artists can't do their own PR for shit, anyways. Sometimes it seems we're all either crushingly depressed or complete egotistical maniacs. This is all still early stuff, don't get discouraged!

Motivation is key my friend, it can be bothersome but that's how it goes.

C.K. Holder-Interracial Erotica

that's life, sometimes. thanks for letting us know. do your thing as best you can. !oh shit! looks like a minotaur tag team. good god.

Thank you for this post. Farah's teaser looks awesome and it's a great way of keeping us in the loop. Please take your time with the comic pages, quality is all that matters. Just let us know how's it going from time to time (maybe with a teaser like here).

Dude it's all good the reason I became a supporter was to enjoy your work and contribute in anyway I can. I also understand that finding motivation can be quite difficult so if I can give you some Advice it's that try and stay positive when doing your work and just do what make you happy but also try and stay in the groove of work. Anyways love the sketch and I'm excited to see what comes next !

PIT the rough preview sketch looks great. I think your comments about creativity are right on. I am an architectural and environmental designer. It's the same for us in my field. Everyone likes to believe that we have these epiphany moments where great and innovative ideas appear out of thin air. Sure that sometimes happens, but 90% of the time it is hard agonizing work with many hours of repetition where you create slightly different variations on the same idea; only to eventually scrap the whole damn thing and start again. I get it and reading through the comments I think many of your supporters also get it. If you get an chance or have any interest you should check out Creativity, Inc. by Ed Catmull. Good read about Pixar and their creative process. Might be helpful.

If it helps take away some of the pressure that you are under, i am sure that everyone here would be ok with you using new hot meal sketches as the charged posts for the month. Were all on here to support you so whatever keeps you off the street is fine with me. Im sure most, if not all, would agree that being charged for those sketches is totally worth it.

Angelo

I have to disagree. Charged for unfinished work, really?

SxJames

Maybe if you pledged $1.00 you would agree. What about those who pledged $2 or $5 like me? We would get the same thing as the lowest tier. Then all the pledging system would be pointless. I don't mind waiting a bit more for the pledged works, but can't agree to what you proposed.

Anonymous

I understand that it would be an inconvenience to the pledging system. However, i think it would be effective as a one time thing that only happened this month as a way to help out the man we are all on here to support. In my opinion the comic pages (even unfinished) are more valuable than finished pin-ups. I'm sure the comic sketches take about the same amount of time to create and need more thought to go into it (scenes, multiple body poses, dialogue).

Anonymous

I must agree with both of your point of views, In my opinion, the sketches are much faster than the rest of the procedures, one person can only do so much before burning himself out, specially when your doing everything,. In my experience, It could take 2-3 weeks to finish a comic page with multiple scenes. But as an artist, you never want to rush something, specially when charging for it, it brings guild to your own self if your not happy with it. I think we could all wait for the finish product, but if Mr.Pit needs the cash, we should support him so he can pay his bill. At the end of the day, we are here to support him, even if the product is finished or not. Because we all want to see those bimbo taking it like the sluts they are lol.

SxJames

It's not effective as one time thing cause I'm still going to pledge $15 next month just not for the Hot Meal sketches which are amazing btw (PiT himself said they're like a bonus for all patrons). So actually I'm in the group who supports PiT the most (a lot of us are, like 25-30% of all the pledges). I hope you're doing the same cause honestly if you pledge less for next month then all what you're saying seems kind of hypocritical. Of course anyone pledge as much as they want ($1, $2, $5, even more than the highest tier is possible) and that's great, that's support, but if you propose scenario in which the only ones who loose nothing are those who pledge minimum, you should at least be in the pants of those who'll loose the most in comparison (poll rights, PSD format). As I've said in my other post I've no problem with waiting for the pledged works some more. I don't want for the PiT to rush and be unhappy with the ending result, like OV's Workshop mentioned. Only thing I wish is for the PiT to keep us in the loop, like he did recently and an occasional sneak peak (sketch, a preview) at his working progress.

Hi Pit, congratulations for your work on patreon. I wanted to know if you'll only erotic art or even the sex scenes. Thank you.

Bradley Davis

Keep it up PIT! I know it gets rough but that's why I throw my money at you haha!

C.K. Holder-Interracial Erotica

thanks again for keeping us in the loop. i have no idea what it takes to create what you do, so i have no problem waiting. but maybe we could get some hot meal sketches when your charged posts don't get done within the month. just to hold us over a bit.
