Coville Reboot Concepts (Patreon)

I've sat on this idea for long enough. I might as well present it and get some feed back. I'm going to reboot the Coxville Universe with a fresh look from a matured style. I feel like I've reached a point in my art that I can't push it any farther and I can't scale it back. It's in a sweet spot in my opinion and I want it to represent Coxville moving forward. The writing is going to be handled by a trusted writer and I think everyone will enjoy how it turns out. These are some concepts I never shared in full, only partially. I think giving them the light of day and sharing them, along with your responses and ideas, might inspire me to keep working on it.

I’m all for a reboot. My only real concern with the last version was Samson kind of being dick, same with coach. I’d like to see them, or if not them other black guys that the girls get involved with not only be “asshole thug” types. So I’m personally hoping Tyrone and Jamal are cool. Outside of that, I’m curious to see how anything changes. Design wise they all look great. I’ll always have love for how Jenny and Kitty looked in your old style but they look great here too. Also kind of like the progression you did with these pics from dressed to boobs showing to sucking Harold and Chad to sucking Tyrone and Jamal.

Definitely interested in this. Does this go back to your post many months ago about wanting to change the tone of your work? I seem to remember you saying you were uncomfortable with how some of your older work was being viewed in today's social climate. I've enjoyed your work so far, so I trust you to keep up your amazing work.

That's been taken into account. Jamal has a very real persona and isn't just "black=thug", I've got genuine investment in creating characters with distinct personalities. But that's not to say characters like that won't exist. Variety is the spice of life. Melvin, the book worm will make a reappearance. I often think people have latched onto the black thug trope more than I've actually depicted it.

What do you prefer about it? I've heard this sentiment more than once but no one offers a reason for it. Keep in mind there's no line art on these, that would change in the comic pages.

My thing was mostly this seems a bit too much. On the bimbo style angle I liked the fact kitty looked less like a doll and jenny the same. Like they were bimbo but only somewhat and it wasnt a question of how they function or operate in school as teacher and all. And the guys here look more like big black thug angle than they did previously. You also seem to be going greater on the massive dick angle for some reason. Ik its porn and exaggeration is a part of it but this is the answer of why I prefer the old style more. I'm not sure how big the reboot is to me personally it seems like the same stuff just rehashed. If you were making changes I was kind of hoping for more clean marriage or less bimbo wife all she cares about is black dick as well as the rest of the town. To make a comparison if you dont mind more like Carmen and Kelsie comic that Jay Marvel did he didnt reboot but there was a bit of change in writing and stuff. But not sure its your thing given why you started and your material you stick with. If you were interested in a reboot than like I said I was hoping to branch out than just do bimbo white girl likes cock and cucks her husband giving birth to twin black babies and ha ha husband has small dick and gets dumped. That's my main gripe is the art seems like a downgrade and there is no reason to do a reboot as your just doing the same thing over again that you coukd have did by muting continuing from comic 2.

There are comics with 60-70 odd panels or pages, scattered ideas over on JP. If the story you wove out of all of that is what you just wrote then you've invested entirely too much into the some very obscure images there. The twins breastfeeding isn't canon. Jenny leaving Harold was actually a meta commentary on leaving JohnP's website to stop wasting time stuffing his pockets with cash and make my own way on Patreon. Half the stuff I drew was simply about imagery and evoking some response. There isn't some clever string tying everything together into a single narrative. Think of it more like a porn universe similar to how real porn works. You have actors that play different roles in flicks. Jenny and Kitty are a little like that. They're a "type" that fits whatever narrative for certain things. Not every image they might be in is some canonical story. Just like every Jenna Jameson flick isn't some great fuck epic where she plays the same character. And also, I don't own any of the work I'm known for because I made bad business decisions when I started. This would at least give me the opportunity to own the very thing I'm known for and allow me to reclaim it. I hope that make sense and you can bear the awful burden of watching bimbos get dicked down just one more time.

I have seen some of the comments and I see some came with concerns the most. I will say this seeing all your art for and the characters from the past is why I still love them. All I saw was they are connoisseur of what a sexy woman, bimbo, you name it, should be and we all want to fuck. If you capture that feeling in all characters and cut back on the thug/assholes, then you still capture what I saw in your past works carry over to this reboot.

I think the weight for Tyrone (and Jamal)is a bit off. Even if you consider someone like Markus Ruhl who is 5'10" and competed at about 280 pounds. Adding almost another foot in height would stretch out his mass quite a bit. Just from my eye I think Jamal would weigh closer to 325 to 350 with that height and mass.

I would like to start by saying the new art looks amazing and the designs for Jenny and Kitty are out of this world. However, I would like to mirror some sentiments on concerns for the substance contained in future coxville stories. At the end of the previous run in Coxville the new character (white punk guy) made it seem like we were progressing away from the exclusively black male on white female cuck/ntr relations and into more pairings that would appeal to all your fans. I love the coxville girls and their antics but I would really appreciate a branching out of partners, themes and situations rather than just always black male on white female. All races and creeds, diversity of character archtypes and themes and fetishes other than NTR/ cuck would be very welcome.

Honestly its hard for me to think of any great ideas on rebooting sense I loved the original so much. The only thing that actually popped in my mind was maybe doing a mystery/crime story in Coxville. Jenny and Kitty (or just a new character) as a detective investigating something (murder, criminal organization, etc) and keeps getting side tracked by BBC. Hope that sparks something, if not keep up the great work. As a long time follower I know whatever you make will be great.

I think rebooting or redoing the coxville universe is good and all and i'm hoping to read and see a new perspective on some new characters that kind of gel with old cast. Personally, I'm hoping to see at least some new races instead of black and white, at the very least from the male character pool, just getting tired of black male interracial porn. Also, to further expand on some comments on why some guys want to see the old style of artwork from your John Persons website days. Never bought a membership, always found your work through "other" means, but what I liked about it is that it looked aesthetically pleasing to my eyes. Sure the girls were suppose to be bimbo's and they're drawings, I know shouldn't get too attached; but there are times in my head where I need to have a balance of a sense of realism and a point to just let my imagination run wild and your old artwork did that for me. Piggybacking on Taurus' comment, to me, it seems that some of the previous artwork the girls you drew almost seem like carbon copies of each other: just different hair, different height, different size of circles for T n' A. For the guys, it's dick that make them look like tripods at times. I know that's the point but In the old artwork, it didn't seem like they could all look the same. But lately, with all the emphasis on certain parts, to me it just sticks out too much. Like what separates jenny's physical appearance from power-girl in the hypnos story-line? I don't mean to continue bashing everything you work on, you said so yourself that as with any work in progress, things may change; I just feel that there are times where some aspects should be toned down for the sake of making it real or at the very least believable.

I've been a fan for several years now and followed you to patreon. I like both styles, and I feel that this is a great idea. Take back what was yours as you are correct in that many other people put their spin and traits on your characters. I look forward to seeing what you come up with! My favorite character from the old stuff was the Nurse, as I loved her look. Story-wise, she was less than to be desired, in my opinion, but she always looked great! This story line was my first experience with your comics. I just loved it! But let me be honest, I liked the old-style graphics much better ... at that time, Jenny and Kitty were not just big boobs, puffy mouths, and a spherical ass ... but real sex goddesses. Your old graphics were divine .... if you could smuggle a little of that style back into your drawings (i.e. draw less plastic women), I would appreciate it! Thanks!

First of all, I want to say that I think the new style is amazing and it really feels like a breath of fresh air. I am also really looking forward to this reboot and am very excited at the possibilities because I've always felt like the town of Coxville had a lot of unused potential. As for the writing, if characters from other parts of town like the nurse, cop, or nun could have a larger role, it would make the town feel more alive, so to speak.

While I love the idea of a return to the original Coxville content. I have to agree with others about the current art style not being on par with the older stuff. Don't get me wrong I'm fine with the new art style. But, if I had a choice the older style would win out. As for you now deciding to go back to Coxville at this point in time after leaving it alone for so long. I'm sorry but, I have to say you are consistent about only one thing, the fact that you are all over the place with your projects. I think that as patrons it's important to see that you start something, no matter how small, and finish it to the end to see consistency. You still have older projects dealing with Coxville that are still in the sketch stage, why not go back and finish those before starting some new reboot? I really like your work, hell as long as it's interracial stuff I'm pretty much on board. I would just point out that in the last couple of months you have gone from grand ideas for super hero parodies to Damballah Island now to a reboot of Coxville. Try to button it up a bit and give your patrons some consistency going forward.

Coach Black was already the luckiest bc he got to hook up with Jenny twice and Kitty too. Tyrone has a close resemblance to Coach Black, IMO. Just a more hulked up version with a full Kimbo Slice style beard, which is very cool. Also, I like that Jamal is slightly taller and has grown his hair out more than Samson, bc it helps distinguish in appearance beyond being a junior version of Coach, which Samson kinda was for Coach Black. The stylistic distinctions in character design, such as Kitty's strawberry blonde hair, improves the cast, IMO.

I have an idea for the character of Melvin. Being more of a nerd stereotype who's still packing, what if he developed a fetish for blonde bimbos and he secretly records them in the AV room or in the library? He could act all innocent asking them to help him with something, before you know it he's fucking them up against the TV cupboard, and all the while he's secretly recording them to fap to later! He could end up with quite the collection!

These are great renderings -- the girls' figures are wild, but Tyrone looks beautiful, and seeing Jamal nude was a great surprise. I wonder what Tyrone would look like with more of a downward curve similar to Jamal's. Either way, great work. Can't wait to read the stories!
