What's up rockstars?

It's been a while I know and I am sorry. I've been grinding these videos at a rapid pace, taking a breather to enjoy Halloween with my family. Hope you all had a fun and safe holiday and for those that aren't U.S. based and so perhaps not so infatuated with candy I hope you've been enjoying the weather at least :D

In case you didn't hear, over on Discord we started an official miniature painting contest for November! We do mini contests (heh) quite often but nothing this official.

Without further ado, here are the rules:

November Paint Contest Rules

• One entry per participant 
• Must be a member or King of Average's Patreon/Discord channel to participate and the work needs to be painted by you. 
• Miniature must be started and completed during the month of November (pre-primed is ok, this is about the painting) 
• Submit your final entry photo(s) on discord or email them to KoA: thekingofaverage@gmail.com.  You are welcome and encouraged to post "in progress" photos in Discord along the way.  This is a loose competition and we are here to encourage each other.  The end reward is that we ALL become better painters for trying. 
• When you entry is completed please clearly label your photo(s) as final so we send the correct pictures to our judge, Bandaru, and for voting in the People's Choice Award. 
• Rules can be subject to change if we screw this up in any way.  We will do our darndest to make this a fun and fair competion.  Please DM Oblong if a question arises.

Details

• Our judge, Banda Inku, is locked out of the #november-2020-contest thread on Discord so he will not know who has painted which figure to avoid any bias.  Please ONLY post pictures of your entries progress and completion in this channel.
• KoA has excused himself from being a winner and Oblong will do the same as we are "running" the competition.  We are still going to participate "for fun" not prizes.
• Yeah, so what about them prizes?!?!?! There will be 4 categories of winners as follows:

        Best Technique - show off your flair for doing amazing effects, brush control, OSL, NMM, or whatever you can do to "wow" the judge.

         Best Artistic Presentation -  make it all come together to make a statement, great color choices, fantastic basing, or whatever that shows you got style.

         Best in Show - The judge's choice for the best overall painted figure.

         Fan Favorite - What?...the judge is wrong?  Maybe so!  Let the people of this Patreon speak as all will be able to vote for their favorite.

We will have runner's up/honorable mentions for each category and the Top 3 for Fan Favorite.   The judge will be selecting a unique figure for each category (no duplicates) but the Fan Favorites could possibly be any of the judge's unique picks.

Yeah, yeah, so what about them prizes????

Each winner and runner-up will get free swag from the King of Average's merch store.   More to come on the particulars of what your winning entry/mention could win but let's just say the retail value of prizes will exceed $200...plus think how cool you will look.   And best of all you will have earned the title around here as an Official KoA Paint Master which has been said to be priceless.

Since I'm not eligible to win, I can spoil what I'll be painting :D

I've actually already started! Next update will be an audio update again for you guys to listen to as I talk about 3D printing, Kickstarter and some channel opportunities :)
