I still find it funny that her random holiday one-off single of Gingerbread Man (and a deluxe song of Play Date) being my most played and favorite song(s) of Melanie. So no, not a crazy take to have! Also crazy that from Lana you went to Melanie rather than Marina [and the Diamonds]. Her discography birthed Melanie and definitely recommend Marina being a next artist to delve into!

I think you’ll love k-12 a lot more! Especially since you preferred her vocals/production on gingerbread man, and I totally agree. Crybaby is definitely necessary and great in its own way, but k-12 she really improves a lot!
