I really love the entire production of this album. Billie and Finneas really outdid themselves here with that. I was watching somebody else review this and they mentioned how each track sounds like its own album in terms of these switch-ups and transitions and I couldn't agree more

Beyonce's Renaissance has the full album flow thanks to clever transitions and rhythmic pauses / breaks. Not sure that album was the first to do it, but the first mainstream album I can think of from recent memory.

My thoughts? "Lunch" strikes me as slow love/lust dance song. I would definitely have danced "racy" with my girl in college on that one. "I love stalkers.." This former track runner (400/800 meter) admires the speed of the back-track on that statement... I think it might be an Olympic record set. The heart that can't be broke thing got me thinking the most. I believe that a heart being broken is inevitable where life is concerned, in fact it seems to be "life's" mission to do so. A heart gets stronger when the full range of emotional experience is allowed to be felt. I think true art provides this service of exercise in the safest way possible. I have a whirlwind of half-formed thoughts on the subject of an "unbreakable heart" that I can only summarize as the following: "A heart that can't be broken ain't beating".

THANK YOU for pointing out the similarity between The Diner and Lenka's Trouble Is A Friend! I had the exact same immediate association, but couldn't place the song and it was driving me crazy.

Please listen to more than just popular music. I'm begging you. It'll be so much more enriching for you, I promise.
