concept art of the king before Thresher, his father, King Orca! (or Mako, or River, sometimes Dorsal in older drafts) 

Not concrete on his design or name, but i know his vibe.  he's got Hake ears and a the short Trout tail gene, mans got it all. 

He wasn't nearly as cruel a King as Thresher, but he was strict, and would enforce the Tides law harshly.
