Climate change is kinda like mold in your basement. You know it’s there. You know it’s a problem. Some day it’s gonna cost thousands of dollars and possibly make your house impossible to live in. On the other hand, you’ll probably be dead by then, so fuck it.

Now for climate change , It’s Monday you have outdoor event Saturday how many times do you check the weather to be sure it’s still sunny Saturday ? How many times does it change to rain less than a week out ? Yet decades of false doomsday dates this fine it’s different , Trust the science . Wildfires ( currently larger than many states , in Canada burning over a month this year ) and volcanos produce more carbon than man every year , yet govt organizations and war are never tabulated for their carbon footprints . Trust the science . Not a single climate model factors in cloud cover or the SUN . Sunspot activity effects proven to drastically alter seasons on other planets . Hundreds of years shows drought and crop production correlates with sunspot patterns yet this is left out on science models . Trust the science . Last but not least not a single prediction in 50 years of climate change , formerly global warming , formerly which was formerly 2nd ice age has come to pass . Thunberg deleted her 2023 doomsday tweet made years ago . Despite it having same remedies as cults of present and yesteryear of living in squalor , surrender your freedoms , give up quality foods , and give us your money against your will , this time it’s different , this time YOU CAN TRUST THE SCIENCE . I welcome all challengers of this here or in private chat .

Sad as it is, I think of most things in this context. I’m prob single til I check out, with no children, but some friends of mine have kids so I’m not totally apathetic. Even given our lack of leadership on the subject generally. Still hard to feature a real solution to the problem when the rich a$$holes fly in private jets to climate conferences and regular people still get blamed for everything. What can ya do? 🤷🏻‍♂️
